It was reported yesterday on the Howard Stern show that Steven Tyler is suffering from Hepatitis C. Hepatitis C is a disease of the liver that is caused by a deadly virus. Undoubtedly, Steven caught the virus from his years as an intravenous drug user. Hep C is one of those scary viruses where, if left untreated, your liver will end up destroying itself.
Steven Tyler joins fellow Hepatitis C sufferer Pamela Anderson in the struggle to control the virus. However, it’s also been reported that the virus is undetectable in his blood.
OK- here’s what I don’t get: why is everyone pressuring Pam Anderson to have a baby with Kid Rock when she clearly has health issues related to the Hep? Doesn’t that seem a bit wrong?
Hopefully they’ll find a cure to Hepatitis C soon.
