Singer Norah Jones has split with her longtime boyfriend, Lee Alexander. The couple had been dating for years although now that they're split up they plan to remain "friends" and work together in the future.


Says a pal of Norah Jones, " It's an amicable break-up."

Sorry, Norah, I guess it wasn't meant to be! Miss Jones, 28, is the daughter of Beatles musician Ravi Shankar.
