Keith Urban says he can't wait to be a dad with his wife, Nicole Kidman.
FRESH and reinvigorated from his three months in rehabilitation, country singer Keith Urban has revealed he is ready to become a father.
Urban's Hollywood actor wife Nicole Kidman has talked often of her hopes to have more children, and the recently wedded couple are believed to be trying to have a baby.
"I am looking forward to fatherhood," Urban told The Sunday Telegraph. "I have always wanted to be a good dad.
"My brother's got two kids and he's an excellent dad and I think we both have that sense of being home and being solid family guys."
Urban is already stepfather to Kidman's two adopted kids, Isabella and Connor, but says he has always longed to father his own child.
"I don't get to see the kids as much as probably a lot of stepdads would, but it is a good relationship," he said of Kidman's children, who live with their father, actor Tom Cruise.
