Mario Lopez, of Saved by the Bell and Dancing with the Stars fame, was named the new host of Extra!
Extra is saying goodbye to host Mark McGrath, its current host, who used to be the lead singer of the band Sugar Ray.
"Mario ... has established himself as a highly engaging, likeable and sought-after host and personality," Hilary Estey McLoughlin, president of Telepictures Productions, said in a statement.
After three years on Extra, McGrath, 40, plans to focus on his musical career. No word on whether or not he's still hooking up with tons of groupies.
