Well, top of the morning to ya! Happy St. Patrick's Day! And no, you are not drunk! (O.K. maybe some of you!) This blog was called "All Celebrity Bytes." I was promoted to having my own domain site! (Yeah, baby, yeah!) So this is my new name, I like the new look, and even though I miss my "old" name, this one is very cool!
Well, what dastardly deeds and doings are my celeb buds up to today.....
Today is Celebrity Criminal Day and up first is this extremely STUPID story..it seems that a warrant was issued for rapper Lil Wayne's arrest in Yuma, Arizona. The original charges were for drugs and weapons but now that he has failed to appear in court, the Yuma prosecutor Deann Sandry said that he should be issued a bench warrant and his bond increased to $150,000...Um, Deann, I don't know if you know this honey but, HE'S IN JAIL, DUMB A**! He began serving a sentence on March 8, at Riker's Prison (that should give him serious "street cred!") in New York for one year. Talk about being biased! His lawyers told them that he was unable to make the hearing...what more could he have said? My question is why is Ms. Sandry going after this case so ardently? Do you hate rap THAT much? Does he remind you of an old boyfriend? Or do you just hate men in general? What's the deal because I'm just not understanding this at all! If he were dead, would you still insist that he is arrested and brought in to court?....Counselor, how does your client plead? Um, not breathing, your honor!
Next up is Jillian Michaels, you know, "the kick your butt until you lose you butt" trainer from "The Biggest Loser." (Very inspiring show, even if you are NOT fat!) NBC wants her to star in a show called "Losing it with Jillian." Isn't this the same person who just last month had 3 lawsuits brought against her? It seems that these people had an issue with Jillian's diet pills, the last woman claimed that the pills contained citrus aurantium which can cause high blood pressure and cardiac issues. Just don't take the damn pills! I don't think Jillian was coming to these individuals houses and forcing them down their throats! And the kicker is the third lawsuit was suing for less than $5,000! Does she have a credit card that she needs to pay off? Need a down payment for a Mercedes? NBC might have a self fulfilling prophecy with that title of Jillian's show...NBC could be the ones "Losing it with Jillian"..."It" being MONEY from lawsuits!
Last but definitely not least is....Oprah Winfrey! (a.k.a. Pokemon!) A judge refused to dismiss the case filed by Winfrey's ex-headmistress in South Africa. It was determined that Ms. Winfrey defamed the headmistress, therefore ruining her reputation and profession as a teacher. This is what happens when you talk TOO much, Oprah! Learn to keep your mouth shut! This is why I suggested in an earlier blog that Oprah should sit down and let someone else make some money instead of her having to "catch them all!" I feel that Oprah brought this "bad" karma on herself. She bad-mouthed American children saying that "they disappoint her and don't deserve a school such as the one she built in South Africa. Yeah, that is a real morale booster! And I just knew (and hoped!) that something would go wrong because that just wasn't right, she once was a "poor," struggling AMERICAN student! Didn't we have this talk yesterday (with Paula Abdul, Prince, and Jennifer Lopez) about forgetting where you came from! That is why she is full of crap! You want American money but the American children aren't good enough for you to believe in them! And now because you went "flappin' off your mouth," you quite possibly will be "flippin' off your roll of money!"
