Good Day to one and all! My daily readers has grown to 8! Hell, it's turning into one big party! Well, welcome to my party....and boy, have I got some side "dishes" (get it? dish?) for you!
What dastardly deeds of the celebs are abounding today......
Paula Abdul has been in talks with ABC to revamp "Star Search." Also, she is having talks with Oprah Winfrey to possibly get a show on her network. First of all, Paula Abdul, her entire American Idol former crew, along with Oprah Winfrey, need to SIT down! Any show that those so-called judges are on, (minus Winfrey, of course, she's not a judge) just ruins it! Their celebrity has become so big, that the show becomes about them and not for the purpose that these type of shows were made for, the UNKNOWN artist trying to get THEIR 15 minutes! All of these judges are like vampires (maybe they should audition for the next "Twilight" movie!) since they are so good at sucking the life out of everybody's 15 minutes!
Speaking of Paula Abdul, I am so not a fan of hers! I hate how she talks through her teeth.. while smiling! That is so annoying! You know, at the height of her singing career in the 80's, she was essentially blacklisted because she allegedly rose up through the ranks with the help of African-American artists (as evidenced by her first video "Straight Up" and by being/hanging out with Janet Jackson. Well, when she hit the so-called big time, she turned her back on those who had helped her (as evidenced by her "Promise of a new day" video, everyone in that video is of a complexion no darker than hers!) This angered her African-American fans and then she quietly slipped away! This happened to Prince as well. (First, Purple Rain, then he did Under the Cherry Moon) He upset his African-American fan base and had to sit out for a while. Jennifer Lopez did the same thing! (One minute she's J-Lo or J-Ho from the block, hanging with Puff Daddy, then she is Jennifer Lopez!) There is nothing wrong with expanding your horizons but don't ignore people who have helped you! Especially the fans! The moral to the story is: People, don't forget where you started and who got you there...where you came from! Don't bite the hand that feeds you or you just might starve, if you do! O.K. I'm done preaching....
Next up is my guy Charlie Sheen....I have always liked Charlie, (sexy, sexy!) ever since his debut role in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off!" Well, I guess Charlie has pleaded not guilty to domestic violence. The report says that he held a knife to his wife's throat and threatened to kill her after she allegedly asked him for a divorce...on Christmas Day! Now what kinda Christmas present was that Brooke? You couldn't find him a nice tie? I believe this story DID happen...who wouldn't get upset at her bad timing? I must say that Charlie (unlike Tiger Woods and Michael Lohan!) is no wussie! I'd like to see Michael's former fiancee and Elin go up against him! (There would be NO stalking and instead of running from Elin, he probably would have snatched the golf club from her hand and beat HER a** with it!) Side note: Charlie's real name is, Carlos Irwin Estevez, with a name like that, you KNOW he has a "spicy" temper!
Last but not least, I watched "The Apprentice" the other night and boy it was great! Donald Trump is so cool! (He LOST his cool last night though! He was cursing up a storm!) People could learn a lot from this show like (how to curse!), how to run a business, how to stay calm under pressure (there is always a deadline!) and so much more! But what was amazing was how the losing team, the women, did not want to stab each other in the back! But I'm sure, very soon, the fireworks will begin! The stage has been set! I love Cindy Lauper, she seems like a real person. Holly Robinson Peete does seem "witchy"! I knew they were going to fire Carol, she was too quiet and didn't like anyone! Maria Kanellis, the red-headed girl, is going to eventually go after Selita, I caught a NASTY look in her eye when Ivanka Trump called her the skinniest girl in the room and when people talk about Selita being a Victoria's Secret model, she gets that same look! Watch out Selita! Brett Michaels is a bubblehead! (I have never called a man that but there is a first time for everything!) Blagojevich is a jerk ("he doth protest too much! That is a REAL quote, it's from Hamlet except it's "The lady...) And Goldberg is SEXY! I can't wait to see what happens next!
