Madonna Does Not Adopt Child from Malawi?

So now Madonna's rep is denying that she adopted or plans to adopt a child from Malawi.
"I can confirm Madonna is in Malawi on a private visit," the pop star's publicist Liz Rosenberg has said.
"She is building an orphanage and child care center and is involved in other initiatives geared toward helping children orphaned by AIDS thru the Raising Malawi organization. She has not adopted a baby despite reports that she has."
But when have we known Reuters to be wrong? I still say she has a little African black child to add to her brood.
