Former American Idol contestant Luke Menard has been diagnosed with cancer, which is a damn shame because he's smokin' hot! Menard, 29, believed that he had pneumonia when a nasty cough wouldn't go away. After visiting a doctor, Menard was shocked to learn that he had a cancerous mass behind his heart. Doctors also removed infected lymph nodes. The American Idol hottie was diagnosed with Stage Two Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which affects the immune system.With treatment he has a 95% survival rate. He's recovering at home with his wife, Lara.
