26-year-old actress Kirsten Dunst has depression, an illness which forced her into rehab at Cirque Lodge earlier this year. Amidst reports that the blond actress battled alcohol and drug addiction, she was forced to refute, saying she battles depression. Many theorize that her ex's recent new love sparked her fit of depression and her loss of a Miu Miu contract. She used to date Jake Gyllenhaal, who now looks like he's moved on with mom-of-two Reese Witherspoon. Says Kirsten:
“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse, I went there for depression.”
“It was a good six months before I decided to go away,” Kirsten says. “I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn't know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.
