Kim Kardashian and Ashlee Simpson both denied that they had gotten engaged as teh ball dropped to ring in 2008. Ashlee Simpson rang in the new year with boyfriend Pete Wentz at the Shore Club in Miami's South Beach. She was pictured wearing the ring above on her left finger (a simple band) but her rep has denied that she had gotten engaged.


Another couple NOT getting engaged in Miami were Kim Kardashian, 26, and her boyfriend NFL running back Reggie Bush, 22. Well Happy 2008 everyone...and happy unmarriages!!
