Kate Moss in Blackface
September 24th 2006 16:30
Kate Moss dones blackface in the new “I am African” campaign, which aims to assist children affected by AIDS in Africa by supplying funds of schools, orphanages and medical supplies. The cover of this mag is from “The Independent,” it’s special “Red” edition that was designed by Giorgio Armani.
Is anyone else slightly disturbed by this campaign? Should the marketing geniuses who came up with this push out “I am Chinese” next….in support of SARS, of course, where everyone paints themselves canary yellow?!
Anyway, here are some more celebs in blackface, including David Bowie, Tyson Bedford and Alicia Keys.
At least the black makes it easier to spot the coke under Kate’s nose.

Partly because, it's warped. -- She doesn't have the facial features to be a black person.
Personally, I've always thought alien females (blue-coloured skin, exotic stripes, etc) were pretty hot.
