John Graziano, the 22-year-old marine friend of Nick Bollea (Hogan) who was critically injured in an August 26th accident in Clearwater, Florida is in a comatose state and is only able to open and close his eyes, at best. Graziano was the passenger in Nick's car when Nick lost control and slammed into a 25-ft.-tall palm. It's unclear if Nick was speeding or not, but if he is he will be criminally libel for what appears to be the permanent damage he inflicted on John Graziano, who had just recently returned from a stint in Iraq.
Nick Bollea has been cited numerous times for driving above the speed limit, at times going in excess of 100 mph. The media is stating that John Graziano was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
John's mother Debra Graziano is seeking temporary custody of her disabled son. He has a pinch and gag reflex but is otherwise unresponsive. His skull was broken at its base.
