"Idiot With a Tripod" Brings Out Beauty in a Blizzard
December 31st 2010 02:37
For most people, a blizzard is at best a nuisance and at worst a serious danger. For Jaime Stuart of Astoria, NY, last week's blizzard was an opportunity. A chance to find beauty in the storm and pay homage to 1929's short film "A Man With a Camera".
Even the venerable Roger Ebert was so touched by the short film that he said it should be nominated for an Oscar.

Movie Roar
I posted this at Screenhead because I was impressed with the work and how Jamie shot the film so fast.
Jamie explains to Ebert how he shot the film so fast with very little edits. Very interesting. It's a good and fast read at Ebert's site.
