Hil and Joel Broken Up

"Is it over for the tattooed rocker and his teen queen? Good Charlotte's Joel Madden and Hilary Duff may have broken up after nearly 2½ years together.

Madden made a DJ appearance at Chicago hot spot Enclave on Wednesday night, and according to a source, told clubgoers he and Duff had split up.

A rep for Duff had no comment on the report, but the witness at Enclave tells PEOPLE that Madden "seemed pretty upset."

Madden, 27, and Duff, 19, only went public as a couple last year, with Madden co-producing and co-writing three tracks on her greatest-hits album, Most Wanted."
