Eric Dane, 35, star of Grey's Anatomy as "Dr. McSteamy" is battling cancer on his lip that was caused by sun damage. The actor said that he noticed something on his lip that looked like chapped lips, but he knew it clearly wasn't so he went to a dermatologist who said that he had skin cancer. The cancer was treated with liquid nitrogen, but the treatment and the cream he put on his lip caused a severe reaction.
“I didn’t eat very well for a couple of weeks and lost a bunch of weight,” Eric Dane says, saying he lost about 10 lbs while battling the disease.
“My skin is very sensitive," he says, "and my lip was traumatized by the procedure I had to go through.”
