Catherine Zeta-Jones' New Movie
December 1st 2006 00:07
"Catherine Zeta-Jones says she can barely boil eggs, but she plays a top chef in No Reservations, in theaters July 27.
‘My husband said this is going to be a big stretch for me,’ she says with a laugh, referring to Michael Douglas' reaction. She was a fan of the little-seen 2001 German film Bella Martha. It was made by her friend Sandra Nettelbeck, who wrote the Reservations screenplay. When the remake came her way, she couldn't resist.
Zeta-Jones plays an insular, anal-retentive chef who gets custody of her niece, played by Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin. Aaron Eckhart (Thank You for Smoking) plays her sous chef and love interest."
Eh, I'd rather watch "Top Chef."
