Howdy everyone! What is happening in celebville today?
What dastardly deeds and MISdoings are abounding....
First up is L.L.Cool J. I guess Fox News Channel had to cut a segment about LL Cool J on Sarah Palin's new show, after the NCIS: Los Angeles star pointed out that a 2-year-old interview had been "repurposed" for the program. (Trouble in paradise already huh, Sarah?) "Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin's Show. WOW," he tweeted Tuesday night (How come they just didn't interview him.. FOR REAL? I knew this was a shady deal!) Side note: This is where "tweeting" (or nitwitting) is good..it had a PURPOSE!)
Next is Jesse James. As alleged mistresses continue to come out of the woodwork and Sandra Bullock remains silent and unseen (shows a lot of class!) Jesse James has checked himself into rehab (for what exactly? And why does it take getting caught for a cheater to realize they NEED therapy?) A rep for the West Coast Choppers boss released a statement confirming reports that the star had entered a rehab facility to seek help. "Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues," his rep said in a statement. "He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage." My comment: "And it's too late baby, now it's too late"....Forget Jesse, that bus left a long time ago!
Last but not least, is Miley (smiling virus) Cyrus. Critics HATE her acting! Despite Miley Cyrus' popularity with the tween set, critics nationwide have panned her performance in the romantic drama, "The Last Song," in theaters Wednesday. "A more convincing star could make this a degree more tolerable, although in Cyrus's defense not much more," writes the Boston Globe. "Allegedly, this is the film in which Cyrus gets all, like, dramatic. If by 'dramatic' one means pouty, sullen, and cute, then OK." The New York Times goes a step further, calling Cyrus a "big problem" in the film, based on author Nicholas Sparks' novel, in which she plays bratty musical prodigy Ronnie, staying with her estranged dad (Greg Kinnear) at a beach house for the summer. "Acting, for the moment at least, seems almost entirely beyond her...she pouts, slouches, storms in and out of rooms and occasionally cracks a snaggle-toothed smile, but most of the time she seems to be mugging for the camera, play-acting rather than exploring the motives and feelings of her character." (I totally agree!) Another critic said that she has "approximately one-and-a-half expressions," (Harsh!) and yet another said she and costar Liam Hemsworth, now her real-life beau, have a "total lack of on-screen chemistry." Sad, so sad, but I told you this was going to happen. She can't act, at least not yet, and not without some SERIOUS studying!
See ya tomorrow! Bye!
