Wow! There's going to be a Donnie Darko sequel! Greg, if you're reading this I know you'll appreciate the news! Yay! I love me some Jake Gyllenhaal, even though he won't be in the sequel.
The sequel will be called S. Darko and will have the original baby sister reprising her role.
The story picks up seven years after Donnie Darko (seven years after Donnie dies). Little sister Samantha Darko and Sam;s best friend Corey are 18-year-olds on a roadtrip to L.A. and are haunted by weird visions.
The film starts shooting May 18.
The first Donnie Darko was about a suburban teenager who was plagued by visions of a scary bunny telling him when he was going to die. It's hard to explain, but it's a good movie. You really have to see it!

It's just gonna be a remake dumbed-down-for-the-people-wh o-never-saw-the-original-but- were-eventually-persuaded-to- by-friends-who-had-seen-it-an d-liked-it, but then didn't 'get it' anyway...
You GOTTA see Southland Tales, awesome film, Kelly is proving to be the Orson Wells of our age.
